Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 June 2026

These Terms govern your use of PdfMind.io (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

PdfMind.io provides free online tools for working with PDF and related document and image files — including merging, splitting, compressing, converting, signing, filling, and similar tasks. Most tools run directly in your web browser; a small number process your file on our server and delete it immediately afterwards (see our Privacy Policy).

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you agree that you will not:

3. Your files and your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the files you process and for keeping your own copies. While we take care to process files correctly and delete server-processed files immediately, you should always retain the original of any important document. We are not a storage or backup service.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that conversions will be perfectly accurate, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Output quality can vary depending on the complexity of your file.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and given that the Service is provided free of charge, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or files, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under EU and Cyprus law.

6. Intellectual property

The PdfMind.io name, branding, design, and original site content are owned by us. The Service is built using open-source software libraries, which remain the property of their respective authors and are used under their applicable licences. You retain all rights to your own files — using the Service grants us no rights over them.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (such as our hosting and content-delivery providers). Their availability and performance are outside our control, and we are not responsible for their services.

8. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may add, change, or remove features, or update these Terms, at any time. When we update these Terms we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and applicable European Union law. The courts of Cyprus shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your country of residence.
